Graphic Design & Website Design Agency located in Athens, GA. 

Grizzly Grafix was founded in 2016 by our CEO, Wes Chenoweth.  Wes is a Liberian native who came to the USA at age 4 with his family to escape a brutal civil war.  Wes and his family moved to New York City where he grew up, obtained citizenship, and got an education.

Wes is an engineer and graduate of Syracuse University.  While in college, Wes took on the nickname "Grizzly" because of his massive size and football player built.  The nickname stuck, and he decided to take that ball and run with it.

After working 12 plus years in the construction management industry in New York City, Wes decided to follow his true passion of being an entrepreneur.  His hobby was designing t-shirts.  It wasn't easy at first but Wes sharpened his Adobe graphic design design skills and created his first successful apparel brand; Battle Rap Gear.  Upon discovering how useful his talents were and seeing the promise, Wes decided to help others with their designs.

 

This spawned the birth of Grizzly Grafix.  Wes moved to Athens, GA (Home of the Georgia Bulldogs) in 2014 to seek a better quality of life, escape the bitter cold winters in the North, and re-establish his company and business pursuites.  Wes credits the Clarke County Library, The Small Business Development Center at UGA, Goodwill of North Georgia and the wonderful people of Athens GA, for his success.
